Leroy Logan Portrait wins gold

A portrait of Leroy Logan has won Gold at the prestigious AOP Photography Awards. The photo was originally taken for Leroy’s debut book, Closing Ranks: My Life as a Cop.

The iconic shots were taken by acclaimed photographer, Mark Harrison and will be displayed as part of an exhibition entitled ‘Black Culture in Britain’ throughout the month of October.

The exhibition is to celebrate Black History Month and will be celebrating black culture both through images and the stories of the photographers who have taken them.

The exhibition runs from Friday 1 – Sunday 31 October 2021 at Crossrail Place Roof Garden, Canary Wharf, London E14 5AB
