Leroy Logan - In conversation with Natasha Beckles 23rd June.

Described by the voice newspaper, as one of the “black officers who helped change the Met”, Leroy Logan is a former superintendent who spent 30 years working in the London police force.

His story of survival, in what was frequently a hostile work environment, was recently the subject of one of the films in Steve McQueen's BBC1’a Small Axe series. In his compelling book Closing Ranks, he argues that there is still much work to do in creating a more equitable criminal justice system.

Join us on 23rd June, on this amazing talk: Closing Ranks. Leroy will be joined in conversation by the curate and educator, Natasha Beckles.

Tickets are £12 (£10 for digital livestream and concessions).
Proceeds go towards St Mary’s Church - a vital base for outreach projects to vulnerable local people, including the elderly, the homeless and young people at risk.
Tickets available online at www.stmarysprimrosehill.com
Books for sale at the venue on the night of each lecture or online at www.primrosehillbooks.com
