Join Us for a Special Screening of Red, White, and Blue at UEL

Leroy Logan MBE and UEL invite you to a free screening of Red, White, and Blue on 28 November 2024 at 15:00 at the Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability. Part of UEL’s Black History 365 series, this event explores Logan’s inspiring real-life story as featured in the Small Axe anthology.

Black History 365 is UEL’s commitment to celebrating Black history, culture, and achievements every month—not just in October. Through engaging events like film screenings, workshops, and discussions, this initiative fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of Black contributions to society year-round.

On the day of the event, you’ll also have the unique opportunity to purchase a book personally signed by Leroy Logan himself on the day.

After the film, join us for a thought-provoking discussion over tea, where we’ll explore the themes and questions raised in the story, delving into topics of race, identity, and resilience. This event is an opportunity to not only watch and reflect but to actively participate in meaningful dialogue.

To attend, reserve your spot on Eventbrite
